Accommodation and all meals during the four-night Retreat are included in your starting at rate. Accommodation in a private cabin includes all programmed activities and meals prepared daily to suit all dietary needs by Dimensions Algonquin Highlands’ Culinary Team. These all-inclusive accommodations, amenities and activities are conducted by Dimensions’ clinicians.
Our Dimensions staff and therapists follow all regulatory guidelines and do not provide cannabis to our guests for their ceremonial experience. Retreat guests are advised to procure cannabis for their personal Plant Medicine use. We have developed professional relationships with local dispensaries. All cannabis purchases must be made in cash, in person, for personal use, and in accordance with local regulations.
Cannabis
Some participants may choose to incorporate their own legally obtained cannabis into their personal experience.
Cannabis use is:
- optional
- self-directed
- not a required or core component of the clinical model
Clinicians do not provide, prescribe, or direct cannabis use. Therapeutic work remains grounded in established psychotherapeutic practices.
Participants can fully engage in all aspects of the program without cannabis.
A Mind–Body Approach
This immersive experience includes a range of integrative practices that may include:
- individual and group psychotherapy
- somatic-based approaches
- breathwork and mindfulness
- yoga and movement practices
- restorative wellness supports
These elements are intended to support regulation, reflection, and the development of greater awareness of internal experiences.
Working at Your Own Pace
Participants are encouraged to move at a pace that aligns with their nervous system and level of comfort.
At all times:
- participation is voluntary
- consent is ongoing
- individuals may pause, slow down, or step back from any activity
The focus is on creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their experiences without pressure or expectation.
A Supportive Setting for Reflection
Set in the natural landscape of the Algonquin Highlands, the program offers a space to step outside of daily demands and engage in focused personal work.
Through a combination of structured therapeutic support and time in nature, participants are invited to reconnect with themselves and explore what feels meaningful for their own process.
